Hyper-Cardioid, Dynamic, On/Off Switch, 17 ft cord
The MediaStar microphone model 1519 should be the first choice of the performer. The best in the series, we recommend it for vocalists singing solo, trio etc. The model 1519 has a smooth response from base to the highs, and it responds evenly across the range. It compares favorably with many microphones that are priced much, much higher. Features a hyper-cardioid pickup pattern that is preferred by many entertainers. The pick up pattern is excellent for aiming at a specific musical instrument, tight vocalist group; elminates noise from the sides. A good feature for public speaking as well, reducing sound pickup from audience or on the dais. The body is non-reflective black, and grille is a dull pewter finish. This non-reflective finish style is popular with many professional performers. It features an On/Off switch on the body for user control and supplied with a 17 foot long, super-flexible MediaStar* cord which is terminated in a 3-pin XLR - style connector for use with balanced input amplifier systems. The cord plugs into the microphone base, and other lengths are available. See MediaStar* 71-5750 series cables. To switch to 1/4" phone plug (for unbalanced amplifier inputs), simply change the cord to our MediaStar* 71-1590 series cables.Construction: All metal body with rugged mesh metal grille - Cord: Super-flexible 17 foot black cord with XLR male plug, - Output impedance: 500 Ohms +/- 30% @ 1KHz, - Frequency Response: 50Hz to 14KHz, - Pick-Up Pattern: Hyper-Cardioid, - Sensitivity: -72dB +/-3dB (0dB = 1V/ubar@ 1KHz)
