The Streamlight Fire Vulcan Standard System Light is the safety lantern, because in addition to the high-intensity halogen lamp, it features two ultra-bright blue taillight LEDs that lets your partners see you when they're following (or approaching) you in a smoke-filled room. The 3-Position Toggle Switch is designed for easy use with gloves and makes the Streamlight Fire Vulcan Light go easily between strobe and steady modes, so you can use Streamlight's FireVulcan Flash Light to increase visibility at a fire or accident scene or signal help. It is a compact, lightweight, waterproof lantern that is big on power. It's almost impossible to destroy a Streamlight Fire Vulcan. It has a high impact ABS thermoplastic housing, a rubberized cushioned grip handle, and an unbreakable Polycarbonate lens with scratch resistant coating. It has a high-intensity halogen 8-watt spot bi-pin bulb and two ultra-bright blue LEDs. It operates in strobe and steady modes. It produces up to 80,000 peak beam candlepower with halogen bulb witha bulb Rating: 150 lumens typical. Run times are up to 3 hrs. with steady halogen & LEDs, up to six hours with blinking halogen and LEDs, and up to 60 hours with blinking LEDs only, using a 6V 4.5 amp-hour rechargeable battery that can be recharged up to 500 times. The Streamlight Fire Vulcan Light is 7 1/2-inches long by 5-inches wide by 5 3/4-inches high and weighs 3.3 pounds. It is serialized for positive identification. The high-clearance handle comfortably accommodates your gloved hand and the quick-release strap works like a seatbelt buckle. Use it to release or connect shoulder straps fast and easy. The Streamlight Fire Vulcan is Factory Mutual (FM) approved for Class l, ll, Ill, Division 2, Canadian Standard Association (CSA) certified for Class I, II, Division 2; Class III, and Meets requirements of NFPA.
